My two favorite Chardonnay’s to sip and savor as is or with corn entrées are J.
Lohr Arroyo Seco Riverstone Chardonnay (California) and Rombauer Vineyards CarnerosChardonnay (California)! They are buttery, creamy and robust and are erfect pairings with corn or any buttery dish for that matter! Every time I take the first sip of either wine an automatic mmm… escapes my mouth! J. Lohr is the least expensive and I get it for under $12 at Specs Liquor Stores. Rombauer is a little more expensive coming in at around $35 at Specs Liquor Stores. Not all of my corn recipes will pair perfectly with these Chardonnays so I have listed some of my favorites to pair them with. Even if you don’t want to cook up something they are well worth trying! Cheers!
