We try to eat beans and multigrain dishes several times a week. This was an inventive creation that added a bit to the presentation and still complemented the dish with flavor.  Serve with Grilled Lamb Chops for a perfect meal.  The recipe will make 2 pyramids as shown. Make smaller if wanting more then 2 or increase ingredient amounts. Chick peas are also known as garbanzos. Serve chilled with pita chips for a fantastic dip!
Ingredients
1 – 15 oz. can of chick peas (reserve ½ of the liquid)
2 sprigs of rosemary
Technique
In a medium sized pan simmer chick peas, rosemary and ½ of the liquid from the can of chick peas for 20 minutes. Remove rosemary sprig and mash chick peas. Place on plate and form into a pyramid using a fork.
